Steve Harvey is alive, reports of his death are incorrect

Reports that American comedian and TV show host has passed away are incorrect.
Rumors regarding Steve Harvey's death started circulating on social media platforms on Wednesday, with his fans approaching media outlets for confirmation.



It's turned out that a number of smartphone users received the news of Harvey's death via a notification on their devices.

It could not be immediately known who started  the rumors but Steve Harvey is alive.


The artist hosts The Steve Harvey Morning Show, Family Feud, Celebrity Family Feud, Family Feud Africa, and the arbitration-based court comedy Judge Steve Harvey.

Harvey began his career as a stand-up comedian in the early 1980s, and later hosted Showtime at the Apollo and starred in the television sitcom The Steve Harvey Show on The WB. In 2000, he was featured in The Original Kings of Comedy after starring in the Kings of Comedy Tour. The Rwanda Development Board (RDB) has signed a significant agreement with American entertainer Steve Harvey's company BILT LLC to promote tourism and investment in Rwanda. The partnership, signed by RDB CEO Francis Gatare and Harvey in Kigali on December 16, 2024, focuses on developing skills in film, media, and education, alongside health and wellness initiatives, and includes plans to establish an academic institution through Harvey's education company, Melt Education.

The collaboration comes at a time of substantial growth in Rwanda's tourism sector, which saw revenues increase by 36% from $445 million in 2022 to $620 million in 2023, with ambitious government targets set at $800 million for 2024. Harvey, who has visited Rwanda twice in recent months, including attendance at the International Automobile Federation (FIA) awards in Kigali, demonstrates the country's increasing ability to attract high-profile international partnerships to support its tourism and development goals.
